In the game window are the following elements: (Under Construction)
The title. This shows who is playing in the game. White is listed
first, then black.
Below the title is the move number and whose turn it is.
Below that is the goban. Click on the goban to make a move.
To the right, on top, is the help button. That gets you this page.
Below the help button is the "Options" button. This brings up a menu containing options to: Rules:View the ruleset/time setting of the current game Score Est.: Use the Score Estimator (only when you are not playing in the game, and when using the standalone client) Review Game: This Changes the game into edit mode Save Game to Disk: Opens the save file dialog for saveing the game as an SGF file on local disk drive Access List: This selection is allowing users access to a private game. If either player/owner check the "Private" box in the new game window before starting the game adding users to the access list is the only way to allow observers to watch the match/demonstration View Offline: Opens a copy of the game locally (not viable from the server) in edit mode Clone Game: This duplicates the currently observed game (viable from server) so users may discuss the game. Cloning the game will relay moves to the cloned game as they occur and also the user who cloned the game has edit control. Add Time: this will add time to your opponent's clock while playing
Below that is the "pass" button. Click on that to pass.
Below that is the "Undo" button. Press this to send a request to your opponent for an undo of your last move. The opponent can either accept or refuse an undo.
Below that is the Resign button. Clicking this resigns the game. The game can be resigned by either player at any time.
Below that is the close button. this serves the same function as the standard windows [X] Close button. If the game is still in progress you will be asked if you would like to resign the game before closing. If the game is concluded you will be presented with a dialog requesting if you would like to save the game permanently to your game records or not. You may cancel a close command at either of these dialogs by hitting the "Cancel" button, at which point you will be returned to the game window.
Below that are the captures and time remaining for each player. During
scoring, instead of seeing the captures, you see the score for each player.
At the very bottom is the window where comments can be seen. Players
will not be able to see the comments made by observers except in Teaching games. Observers see everybody's comments.
Below that is the field where you can enter your own comments.
To the right is a list of people in the game. If you are editing the game,
you can give somebody else editing control by right-clicking on their
name.
