April KGS Plus Tournament, Asian daytime, Open division (Vinder: Vortex)

Welcome to the April KGS Plus tournament! This is a tournament with slow time controls, 5 rounds played on two days with two hours per round (40 minutes plus 5 byo yomi periods for each player). The open divisions are open to all ranks, the kyu ones are limited to players at most 5k. Enjoy!

50 non-KGS Plus members per division will be allowed to the open divisions, none to the handicap ones. KGS Plus members are always welcome.

IMPORTANT: you are allowed to attend only one of the four divisions and are expected to use your strongest account on KGS. Contact the user "glue" if your KGS Plus account is not your strongest account.

Knock-out type, Simultan plan.

Præmier

1. The winner of each American/European division gets 1 free month of KGS Plus and a teaching game with a teacher from the AyGoSchool. People who have previously won the AyGoSchool teaching game twice are not eligible for the teaching game.
2. The winner of the Asian open division gets 1 free months of KGS Plus and a $36 gift certificate from Kiseido.
3. The winner and 2nd of the Asian handicap division get 1 free months of KGS Plus and a $18 gift certificate from Kiseido.
4. Any undefeated players get 1 free month of KGS Plus.
5. Each round, 1 week of free KGS Plus will be awarded at random.
