KGS Meijin Qualifier April 2012 (Winner: Cassis0)

Welcome to the KGS Meijin April Qualifier!

Swiss, Simultaneous schedule, 1d+, Ranked players only. The time settings are 40 minutes Main time plus Byo-yomi 30 seconds times 5 period (40m + 30sx5), 1 round every 2 hours, 5 rounds in 2 days. Players must have a solid rank.

You can enter as many qualifiers as you like. Each month the qualifiers will be at a different time and will have a different setup.

Important:

Once you enter the tournament, please be respectful to your opponents and do not quit. Your opponent's tiebreakers are affected by your results.
If you miss a round, you'll be out of this qualifier.
There are no handicaps. Players will be paired randomly.
Once you became a contender, you are not allowed to join other Qualifiers. You can't use multiple accounts to enter a different Qualifier, either.
People who violate the KGS Terms of Service may be disqualified anytime (before the tournament starts, during a game, during a round, or even once all the rounds are over).
The Tournament Director for this qualifier is the Admin sweety.

Prizes

In this first qualifier, any undefeated players will be eligible for the Finals which will start in November. The final KGS Meijin winner will receive a cash prize for a minimum of $500 and a special Meijin icon.
